2011: Made 12 appearances, finishing with a 5.00 ERA, 15 strikeouts and seven walks in 18 innings.

2010: Appeared in 17 games... posted a 2.36 ERA with 18 strike outs and 19 walks. 

2009: Named to the Great South Athletic Conference All-Freshman team... posted a 1-2 record with a 4.62 earned run average in 16 appearances… struck out 33 batters in 33 innings… opponents hit just .194 against him for the year, including a .071 averaged during conference games… recorded a season-high six strikeouts on two occasions.

Prep: Was a four-year letterman in baseball and football at Beauregard High School… was an All-Area selection in both sports as a junior and senior … during his senior season, he recorded a .374 batting average with six home runs and 15 stolen bases… also finished with a 7-2 record and a 1.72 earned run average… was named a team captain as a senior in baseball and football … was a member of the Alabama East-West Baseball All Star team… earned the Hornets' Academic Award in both baseball and football… was a member of the 2008 Dixie Majors World Series Champions.

Personal: Full name is Caleb Scott Cofield … son of Scott and Kristin Cofield … has a brother, Tyler, who is also a member of the Huntingdon baseball team... also has two sisters, Riley and Jordan … is majoring in Accounting.
